Use the Maxxima MEL-1S to turn your light socket into a Dawn To Dusk light sensor. By screwing this sensor into your light socket, and then screwing your light bulb directly into this sensor your light will only turn on in the dark. Use the sensitivity ring to control how sensitive you want the sensor to be. If you feel your light is turning on at a time that you don't need it, you can adjust the sensitivity ring so that the sensor is less sensitive to the light coming in and wont turn on as easy. If you want your light turning on regardless of the light coming in, you can completely cover the sensor to ensure that your light stays on at all times. This is the perfect adaptor to give you more control over the lighting in your home or office. Should not be used with Compact Flourescent Lights, or LED Bulbs. Reccomended for use in an open environment. Not recommended for use in a closed lamp, or High Hat, which can obstruct the sensor. 110V Operation Only
